Bridging the Generational Gap in the Workplace

Working today often means joining a team with a range of ages. Every person comes into the office with different life experiences, perspectives and views. This presentation will help you better understand co-workers of all ages and give you suggestions on how to best work together to form one cohesive team.

Presenter: DeAnne Ziebart Brooks, Director of Business Development, Depo International

DeAnne has over 30 years of experience working in the legal industry as a legal assistant, paralegal, recruiter and now in business development. DeAnne has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University along with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from North Hennepin Community College. She is an active member of numerous legal groups including the Minnesota Paralegal Association (MPA), Women in eDiscovery, NALS…the association for legal professionals, the Minnesota Association of Legal Support Professionals (MALSP), and the Twin Cities Legal Employee’s Education Association (TC LEEA).

1 CLE credit will be applied for in Minnesota.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, August 8th, 2017.

Community Service Opportunity:

Help us make our furry, fluffy and perhaps feathery friends at the Animal Humane Society feel a little more warm and comfortable as they wait on their new families!

Please bring along your new or gently used blankets or bath towels to our upcoming August 10th WiE member meeting (remember to RSVP!) for donation to the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley.

The Animal Humane Society receives no federal, state, or local government funding. Seventy percent of their operating budget comes from people like us. Without our help, they would not be able to make a positive difference in the lives of people and pets.
