  • Stradley Ronon Stevens and Young, 2005 Market Street, Suite 2600, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Hello ladies!

The WiE Philadelphia Chapter invites you to our August 2016 Chapter Meeting.

This month we will be joined by Jo Sherman, the founder and CEO of EDT, a litigation and investigative software that provides solutions to law firms, corporations and service providers for processing and analysis alongside their review platforms.

Jo will be presenting her perspective on the importance of not losing sight of the fact that intelligent, creative lawyers or legal technologists can conduct powerful human analysis.

Further, a recent paper by industry luminary Anne Kershaw, Esq. of Columbia University presents some fresh thinking in terms of the way we approach discovery during litigation and introduces an approach Iterative Legal Analysis and Sampling (ILAS). Jo will also discuss the ILAS method and the ramifications of Anne’s study and paper.

Pathways to Housing Charity

We are continuing our support of several individuals who are being placed into apartments by Pathways to Housing.  A list of items these individuals need in the immediate future are attached in the email invitation sent separately. Please send an email with the item(s) you plan to donate and bring the item(s) to the next meeting on August 10, 2016.

The WiE Philadelphia Chapter would like to thank Stradley Ronon for graciously providing the venue. We would also like to thank DTI, a global legal processing outsourcing & litigation solutions service, for sponsoring this meeting and providing lunch.
