What You Need to Know Now About Data Privacy and Cybersecurity

Companies of all sizes are often targets of hackers, disgruntled employees and other malicious actors. This program will examine the compliance issues and ethical obligations of lawyers to understand and address cybersecurity risks to protect confidentiality. In addition, this program will provide practical advice for what companies should do now to get ready for the European Union’s Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to all companies (wherever located) that have or target customers or clients who are EU residents and obtain personal data of EU residents.
