We are excited to have Camila Tobon, Of Counsel, Shook Hardy and Bacon to speak about Colorado’s new data privacy laws, other US data privacy laws and GDPR.

Camila heads Shook’s International Data Privacy Task Force. In that capacity, she helps U.S. businesses address global data protection issues, focusing on the European Union and Latin America. Camila has developed and managed privacy compliance programs, including those designed specifically to address the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes drafting policies, notices and incident response plans, developing risk assessment protocols, creating mechanisms to handle inquiries from data subjects, drafting and negotiating vendor contracts, implementing international data transfer mechanisms, handling breach response and conducting training and awareness programs.
