Managing the Mountain of Evidence at Trial

ONE-HOUR CLE

Speaker: Tim Piganelli, CEO, Piganelli & Associates Discovery and Trial Consulting.

This CLE Presentation will examine the mountains of evidence that can make its way into your case and onto you trial exhibit list. We’ll look at how to best organize and present the contents of a very large case.

Topics will include: the best way to store and manage your evidence; how to handle and present eDiscovery and the complexities of metadata to the trier of fact; how to present expert testimony that relies on metadata or forensic evidence so that it can be understood by a layman juror. Examples and visuals will illustrate the steps and methods to handle large data sets as well as software suggestions, tips, tricks, and the 10 biggest mistakes by trial teams.

CLE Materials and CLE Certificate will be provided.

Tim brings more than 25 years of experience in litigation consulting. Some of his areas of specialty include: eDiscovery consulting, forensic examination, trial strategies, demonstrative evidence, and other areas leading to and including presentation at trial. He has acted as a consultant on such noted cases as Exxon Valdez, the controversial Hulk Hogan – Gawker case and the American Sniper Defamation case involving Jesse Ventura vs Navy Seal Chris Kyle. Tim holds Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering Technology degrees from Arizona State University.
