Beyond Traditional eDiscovery: Structured Data

Data is constantly evolving in its format, content, and volume. Legal matters now involve more analysis than traditional eDiscovery tools can provide. For example, structured data has become more common and requires technologies and solutions beyond the typical processing and review tools. This discussion will focus on the differences between unstructured and structured data, the data challenges requiring techniques outside of the traditional eDiscovery toolbox, the legal admissibility of structured data evidence, and pro tips on when to hire an expert and how to pick the best one. We will also discuss the professional overlap between eDiscovery and data analytics and how to get more involved on either side.
