The Convergence of E-Discovery, Privacy and Information Governance
The Privacy landscape is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly complex. There are many parallels in eDiscovery, privacy and even data breach response. The heart of mitigating risks, reducing costs and combating enforcement actions across all these areas starts with good information governance.
In this session, Rebecca Perry, CIPP/US/G, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Exterro, will provide an overview of the privacy landscape and touch on the key areas and skills that converge and align with e-discovery.
Rebecca Perry is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Exterro and has been with Exterro for almost 30 years. She works with legal, IT, Compliance and Privacy professionals, along with their outside counsel, to accelerate compliance and mitigate risks in the areas of Data Privacy, Data Retention, Data Inventory/Mapping, Data Breach, EDiscovery and Digital Forensics.
