Scott Collister is a senior legal technology leader known for driving innovation in eDiscovery, operations, and AI-enabled legal workflows. A former U.S. Army JAG Corps officer, he brings a disciplined, mission-focused approach to solving complex legal data challenges and building high performing teams.
Scott has expertise in Relativity and DISCO, with experience spanning both corporate and law firm environments. His background includes serving as Deputy Director of IT for Lockheed Martin’s legal department and leading paralegal and litigation support teams at WilmerHale, where he focused on scalable processes and data-driven decision-making. As part of BlueStar’s AI team, Scott works hands-on with advanced processing strategies using various large language models (LLMs) to support clients’ legal and investigative needs.
A dedicated contributor to the eDiscovery community, Scott is a founding member and treasurer of the Houston ACEDS chapter, past president of the Houston Legal Assistants Association, and an advisory board member and instructor for the University of Houston’s Legal Assistant Program. He is a frequent speaker on emerging litigation technologies and AI in legal practice, presenting to organizations such as the Sierra Nevada Paralegal Association (SNAP), the Illinois Paralegal Association (IPA), and University of IL at Chicago Law School.
Donna Medrek works with legal and risk teams to make complex data manageable through defensible, AI-powered workflows. With more than a decade of experience applying AI-driven strategies across domestic and cross-border matters, she brings a practical perspective on deploying emerging technologies responsibly while meeting regulatory and judicial expectations.
A Certified eDiscovery Executive (eDEx), Reveal AI professional, and holder of Microsoft AI micro accreditations, Donna focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insight with an emphasis on transparency, defensibility, and measurable outcomes.
Donna is an active contributor to the legal technology community and a frequent speaker on AI, ethics, and innovation in eDiscovery. She has presented at The Master’s Conference, Chicago Bar Association (CBA), International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), ALM General Counsel Conference, and regional legal and technology associations.
